Family & Faith is a family devotional app. It was built on a simple principle: your family's spiritual life is yours, not ours. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no backend server operated by us.
Nothing. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There is no registration, and we never see your name, email address, location, or anything you do in the app.
Everything the app saves — your family name, reading progress, streaks, favorites, journal notes, prayer requests, and settings — is stored only on your device. It never leaves your phone or tablet. Deleting the app deletes this data. (We recommend an occasional device backup if your family journal becomes precious to you — it lives nowhere else.)
The app downloads Bible chapter text (the public-domain World English Bible) from bible-api.com, a free third-party service. Like any internet request, that service receives your device's IP address when a chapter is fetched. No other information is sent — not your reading progress, not your identity. Downloaded chapters are cached on your device so most reading happens fully offline.
The optional daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. No push-notification service or remote server is involved.
The app is designed for families to use together under a parent's direction. Because we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from children.
If a future version of the app ever changes how data is handled, we will update this page and the app-store listings before that version is released.
